sick sick sick

So I have been getting so many facebook posts from friends wondering where I have gone to! Well here I am, blogging from my Blackberry in bed.

I am sick. I felt fine all day Saturday until just after dinner. At first I thought I had just gotten too much sun during out time at the bbq. By Sunday morning I could hardly talk or swallow. I’ve been in bed since then. Today is the first I have actually started to feel better. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel even better. *I* is back to work after staying home for two days with the kids so I could get better. Not sure how things would have gone without him!!

Well off to bed I go!

Absent

I’ve been taking a break from this blog and from Facebook lately.  It feels kind of good to check out of the internet world from time to time.  Facebook in particular has been getting on my nerves.  I belong to some groups and some are quiet but one in particular is fairly busy with constant chatter.  Facebook loves to let you know that people are chatting about everything and anything and I suppose that’s what is getting to me.  I first tried just not checking out what was going on in that particular group.  But this group can literally be like a car wreck, you don’t want to look but you can’t help but stare.  And I always get sucked in.  I don’t comment often and I think that’s probably for the best.  So this group was driving me crazy.  So I decided to take a break.  A trip to the in laws was the perfect time to take this break.  It was nice to be away from facebook, well I went on twice but only for 2 minutes and I didn’t look at that one group at all!

Our visit was good.  The week went by far to quickly!  We there for Canada’s Day, it was far to hot to check out any of the local activities so we just hung out awere t the house.  The kids got naked and splashed around in the kiddie pool.  Before bed the kids got to try out sparklers!  Isabelle thought they were awesome, Aidan was a little in different about the whole thing, Madeline shrieked when we first started.  After sparklers it was time to get ready for bed and a little glow stick party since the kids room is in the basement and get quite dark.  I had bought the girls some glow in the dark wands and Aidan got a sword to play with.  They had a great time.  As soon as I find the camera, I will post some photos of them shortly.

I want to say that I’m going to continue to sit here and post, however I’m tired.  I’ve already fallen asleep twice trying to write this.  We’ve been spending so much time outside getting fresh air and too much sun.  I hope to get the photos off the camera soon and post them.  But right now Im headed to bed.  How I can’t wait!
